“Kudlik" pronounced Qulliq is a traditional soapstone oil lamp/heat source made by the Inuit which utilized seal or whale blubber for fuel. In over 3000 years the design has changed very little from the original. The lamps work remarkably well, and can be used with scented paraffin based oils for ambiance, and/or olive or canola oil as a highly effective emergency candle when the power is out.
